In the Dadaab refugee camp, many of the people who sent messages approached me afterwards and asked: “What can we really expect from the President? What can we expect from you?” They asked me. I didn’t have an answer for them but I made a decision to do everything in my power to bring awareness to their plight.

Getting these people's messages to the President and raising awareness about it is only one way. You can also help. Learn about the situation and get involved. The UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency runs the camp in Dadaab which is already over populated.
